ISM-CT Workshop:

"Current Cyber Trends Locally and Nationally"

SA Eide is the FBI New Haven Divisions Private Sector Coordinator, helping you to better understand “How and why the FBI is protecting the private sectors most valuable assets from our biggest threats.”   She will provide an insight as to what the current cyber threats are both locally and nationally, the benefits of working together with the FBI and other agencies.

InfraGard Connecticut Mission

"InfraGard CT is a non-profit organization that provides a public/private sector partnership for the protection of local, state and national infrastructure. We prepare society to prevent and respond to the exploitation of security vulnerabilities through confidential exchange of information among members and education of infrastructure stakeholders."

InfraGard is a partnership between the FBI and the private sector. It is an association of persons who represent businesses, academic institutions, state and local law enforcement agencies, and other participants dedicated to sharing information and intelligence to prevent hostile acts against the U.S.

 

Presenter Bio:

Special Agent Judy Eide is currently assigned as the New Haven Division’s Private Sector Coordinator. After graduating from the FBI Academy in October, 1990, SA Eide was assigned and still remains in the New Haven Division. She has worked primarily on White Collar Crime/Public Corruption, Cyber, and JTTF squads.  SA Eide was the Divisions Training and National Academy coordinator. She served as the Senior Evidence Response team leader from 1996-2013. SA Eide has been the Connecticut InfraGard Coordinator since 2012.
