The requirements for CPSM® qualification are:

  • Three years of full-time, professional supply management experience (nonclerical, nonsupport) with a bachelor’s degree from regionally accredited institution or international equivalent


  • Five years of full-time, professional supply management experience (nonclerical, nonsupport) without a qualified bachelor’s degree


  • Successfully pass three CPSM® Exams


Larry Giunipero, Ph.D., CPSM

We are very fortunate to have Larry C. Giunipero, Ph.D., CPSM, C.P.M; Professor of Supply Chain Management Florida State University teaching these classes.

Dr. Giunipero's primary research, teaching and consulting interests are in the area of supply management. He wrote many of the questions on the exam and has solid knowledge of what to expect. 

Larry holds a Ph.D. from Michigan State University. He has published over 60 articles in various academic journals such as Decision Sciences, Sloan Management Review, Industrial Marketing Management, Journal of Supply Chain Management, The International Journal of Logistics Management, The International Journal of Physical Distribution and Logistics Management. He has performed consulting and training projects for over 30 different corporations (such as Motorola, Erics-son, Lucent Technologies, EMC, CSX etc) including projects in Europe, Caribbean, Australia and Saudi Arabia.

Larry’s current research interests are in the areas of Supply Chain Management, e-Purchasing, Supply Chain Sourcing Strategies, and Supply Management Skills & Competencies.
