Risk Management: A Focus on the Supply Chain

Companies of all types and sizes are constantly at risk from both internal and external forces. That risk includes natural, political, economic, technological, financial, organizational, social, and strategic elements. A company’s risk ratio changes daily…and without notice. This session will focus on risk analysis and mitigation by identifying general and specific risks to your business and developing a plan to control those risks. Special consideration will be given to supply chain risk, including strategies for identifying the critical barriers impacting continuity of supply and managing risk throughout the global supply chain.

At the end of this session, attendees will be able to:

  • Identify the specific risk elements pertinent to their business
  • Analyze the critical areas of their supply chain and determine areas of concern
  • Develop a risk register methodology to manage risk
  • Create a risk mitigation strategy to address pertinent risk areas
