President's Report

Greetings!

Fall will soon be leaving us behind and the Holidays are just around the corner with the New Year ahead.  This is the time for each of us to evaluate ourselves and look internally at the many resolutions we may want to pursue.  It’s a great time to look ahead and start putting some new goals into place and try to get a little more aggressive about achieving them.  It is wise to create attainable goals but it's the loftiest goals that can inspire you to stretch yourself in new ways.

ISM-CT membership can help you reach your goals professionally.  The value of connecting, sharing ideas and talking to senior professionals in the supply management world will help you learn and grow in the field.  Maybe meeting a peer will help you make a decision that could change your direction and aid you to reach the goal of your dream.

Remember, time is going to move forward whether you are aware of it or not, so you need to make every day count.  Every connection could be the one to move you to the next level, achieve the next goal.  Creating an awareness of where you are now versus where you want to be will help you do just that.

Please consider ISM-CT as your professional tool for advancing your future.  Yes, this is a pitch for membership but it is also much more.  Our programs will help you stay on top and advance your career if you participate.  Check out the programs on our website under the "Events" tab.

I look forward to meeting you at one of our events.

Yours in Supply Management,

John Toto, C.P.M.

ISM-CT President
